Angel's Envy Cocktails

ANGEL'S DEW

  • 2 parts Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
  • 4 pieces Honeydew, muddled
  • 3/4 part Lemon juice
  • 3/4 part Honey syrup (2:1)
  • Pinch of mint, muddled
  • Muddle, shake, fine strain into double rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprig and fresh cracked pepper

WHISKEY SMASH

  • 2 parts Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
  • 1 part Simple syrup
  • 1/4 Lemon, cut into 2 or 3 pieces
  • 3 or 4 sprigs of spearmint
  • Thoroughly muddle the mint and lemon in a mixing glass. Add the Angel's Envy and simple syrup. Add ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into the rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with the sprig of mint

THE SARATOGA

  • 1 part Angel's Envy (Rye if possible)
  • 1 part Brandy
  • 1 part Red vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Pour the ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice and stir well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon twist

THE IMPROVED STINGER

  • 2 parts Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
  • 1 part Death's Door Wondermint
  • 1/4 part Luxardo Maraschino
  • 1 large Mint sprig
  • Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin. Press mint sprig lightly into the mixture with a muddler, including stem. Discard mint. Add ice and shake vigorously, until the shaker tins frost. Strain into a Nick & Nora glass. Serve without garnish

THE SUBURBAN

  • 1½ part of Angel's Envy Rye finished in Rum Casks
  • ½ part Dark rum
  • ½ part Ruby port
  • 1 dash Orange bitters
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • Fill a shaker with ice. Add the bitters, then pour in the liquors. Shake vigorously and serve in a chilled cocktail glass

BOULEVARDIER

  • 1½ parts Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
  • 1 part Campari
  • 1 part Sweet vermouth
  • Stir all ingredients long and well with ice in a mixing glass. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with either orange slice, lemon twist or cherry

BLACKBERRY WHISKEY LEMONADE

  • 2 parts Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
  • 5 Blackberries, muddled with a pinch of cardamom
  • 3 part Lemon sour mix
  • 3 part Sparkling wine
  • Pour ingredients over ice in a mason jar, top with sparkling wine and stir

PORT OF ENVY

  • 1½ parts Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
  • ½ part St. Germain Elderflower liqueur
  • ½ part Port wine
  • 3 dashes Fee Brothers Black Walnut Bitters
  • Top with ginger beer, garnish with candy ginger. Serve in a double old fashioned rocks glass

BLUEGRASS CHIHUAHUA

  • 1½ parts Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
  • ½ part Mezcal tequila
  • ½ part Lemon juice
  • ½ part Lime juice
  • ½ part Orange juice
  • 1 tsp. Simple syrup
  • Shake ingredients, strain over ice into Collins glass, top with about 2 oz 7UP, garnish with lime and Luxardo cherry
